Carpinteria is a oceanside community located 15 mintues drive south of Santa Barbara nestled between Rincon Beach and Summerland. It offers over a mile of spacious beach access with views of the Santa Ynez Mountains, shops, food, festivals (Avocado Festival) and a laid back beach vibe.  Carpinteria was nicknamed "The World's Safest Beach" and is a great place for a family!
